Beginning with the dream of bringing pioneering shipping container architecture to East London, BOXPARK transformed the space into the world’s first pop-up dining and shopping destination in 2011.
Since then, BOXPARK has gone from strength-to-strength opening some of the biggest food, culture and social hubs in the U.K. centred around the famed Eat. Drink. Play. philosophy – always with local communities at its heart.
EAT
Each BOXPARK venue offers an impressive selection of street food options from all over the world. With an assortment of small, independent street food traders and the host city’s favourite restaurants, BOXPARK explores a range of global cuisines and guarantees to transport your taste buds.
DRINK
With its buzzing atmosphere, BOXPARK is the perfect spot to enjoy food and drink under one roof along with live music, entertainment or socialising with friends. Each venue boasts multiple bars, including the atmospheric BeatBox rooms. All serve a huge range of beers, wines, spirits and creative cocktails.
PLAY
To make your visit to BOXPARK even better, each venue has its own year-round schedule of entertainment and a weekly community-led programme of events. At selected BOXPARK venues you will also find a range of ‘competitive socialising’ experiences with dedicated spaces for fun activities such as axe throwing, virtual reality, mini-golf and our very own PLAYBOX, home to shuffleboard, table tennis, pool and table football.

2011
BOXPARK SHOREDITCH OPENS
BOXPARK Shoreditch opens as the world’s first pop-up mall, offering boutique retail units in the heart of London’s creative quarter. Hackney council tell us we have to include chevrons on the ground outside our venue. We’ve since incorporated it into our design.
2016
THE EVOLUTION OF THE REVOLUTION
BOXPARK Croydon opens to much excitement in South London. The revolutionary space has an immediate impact on the surrounding area.
2017
STORMZY ‘POPS UP’ AT BOXPARK CROYDON
It was difficult keeping it under wraps. Believe us. But we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have Stormzy play to his home crowd, on the very same day that his debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, launched.
2018
EAT. DRINK. PLAY. IN A DIFFERENT LEAGUE
BOXPARK Wembley opens on Olympic Way as part of the redevelopment of the Wembley estate. Just a short walk from Wembley stadium, the venue is an instant hit with local residents and event-goers alike.
2019
1000 EVENTS
For the first time in our history, we hit the 1,000 event mark – delivering a massive range of diverse entertainment across all three sites. A figure that we would go onto smash in subsequent years…
2022
FATBOY SLIM HOMECOMING
Legendary DJ and producer Fatboy Slim returned to his roots with a stunning headline show in Croydon, all in aid of Martlets Hospital.
2024
BOXPARK LIVERPOOL OPENS
BOXPARK goes national, opening its first venue in the old Cains Brewery building in Liverpool.
2024
BOXPARK CAMDEN OPENS
BOXPARK opens its 5th location, right next to Camden Market and Camden High Street tube station.
