Greek souvlaki flatbread wraps with tender chicken, juicy pork and grilled halloumi
The Athenian — Unit 12
Tim and Neo have a Greek street food business called The Athenian. They make Souvlaki – a delicious flatbread wrap from Athens. A creation from ancient times, Souvlaki is now Greece’s most popular street food. Starting with a characteristic round and soft flatbread, it is then filled with a choice of tender chicken, juicy pork or handmade grilled halloumi cheese (vegetarian option), topped with freshly cut salad medley of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, parsley and a choice of their delicious homemade sauces, be it spicy feta cheese, tzatziki or their signature yoghurt, mustard, honey and secret herbs sauce.
They source their products from small independent Greek and local producers, keeping their footprint low while supporting the local economy without ever compromising on that unique Mediterranean experience they aim to bring to their customers. Their mission is to bring a small piece of Athens to London, and create an updated and modern image about Greek food.
