Boxpark Wembley has opened its doors bringing 20 street food vendors, 3 bars and great entertainment to Wembley Park. From burgers to sushi to Indian by a Michelin starred chef, Boxpark caters for all culinary needs. Like its older siblings in Shoreditch and Croydon, Boxpark Wembley aims to deliver a calendar of pioneering events that will reflect the community and culture of the surrounding area. We have always worked closely alongside local groups to forge new and exciting events for people of all ages, and we’re excited to bring that very same focus and commitment to Wembley.
The newly opened Boxpark Wembley features a brand-new competitive leisure theme bar – PlayBox. Located on the upper level, PlayBox features a Miami style shuffle board unit, day-glo ping pong, pool and football tables. The main bar will also feature the largest Staropramen tanks in the UK, serving up high-quality unpasteurised beer direct from the Staropramen brewery in Prague. Roger Wade, Boxpark's CEO says: “We are building on our Eat.Drink.Play brand ethos by developing a new leisure area called PlayBox at Boxpark Wembley. We want people to come to Boxpark to enjoy world-class street food and great beer, have fun in PlayBox, followed by a boogie in BeatBox. We want to build the ultimate night out, not just a place to eat and drink!”
One of the many exciting details setting Boxpark Wembley apart from its predecessors at Shoreditch and Croydon is the opening of Indian comfort food concept KoolCha, the brainchild of Michelin star chef Rohit Ghai and his business partner Abhishake Sangwan. KoolCha will serve an extensive menu of North Indian cuisine with the highlight being traditional ‘Kulcha’ flatbreads. Further vendors at Boxpark Wembley include: Boki, TapaVino, WOLF, Gabagools, Oatopia, Bombay Burrito, Hola Guacamole, Zucla, Mama Jacq’s, Nanny Bills, Smoky Boys, Mitsuryu, Kabab, Spice Shack, Zia Lucia, The Athenian, Ugly Dumpling, Udderlicious and Thai Express.
