RECAP: England through to Last 16

The group stages of the World Cup 2022 have seen some incredible moments created at BOXPARK. Building up to the games with nostalgic acts such as East 17 wearing their iconic white jackets, Barry (AKA Shaun Williamson) belting out some crowd favourites and Atomic Kitten raising the crowd to full voice with their now England favourite Football’s Coming Home Again. Not forgetting a cameo from Olly Murs at Wembley with his rendition of Sweet Caroline before kick off to get the crowd rearing to go. These moments plus beer on tap, incredible street food and an atmosphere like no other show exactly why BOXPARK really is the only place to watch the World Cup 2022.
With England starting the campaign with a huge 6-2 win against Iran we were off to a great start. USA proved to be a more challenging opponent holding England to a 0-0 draw. The final game against Wales was next with a place at the top of group B still within reach it was always going to be a big occasion. A dominating 3-0 win was enough for England to secure their place in the Last 16 of the World Cup 2022. England knocked out neighbours Wales after Marcus Rashford scored twice to secure all 3 points putting us top of Group B. England will take on Senegal on Sunday in the Round of 16.
