BOXPARK’s landmark Euro 2020 campaign has won ‘Most Effective Use of Content’ at this year’s Drum Awards for PR.
Supported by PR agency Here Be Dragons and media partner SportBIBLE, BOXPARK became the ONLY place to watch the England football team reach the final of a major tournament for the first time in 55 years.
Throughout the journey BOXPARK, our partners and the press captured and shared every moment; from iconic goal celebrations to the agony of every near-miss (and THAT penalty shoot-out). Plus BOXPARK’s iconic line up of special guests like Barry from Eastenders welcoming fans to our opening ceremony, to Atomic Kitten's viral performance of ‘Whole Again’, John Barnes recreating ‘World in Motion’ and Danny Dyer and Will Mellor leading the crowd in a rendition of ‘Vindaloo’.
BOXPARK’s content was viewed 18.4 billion times and resulted in unprecedented demand for tickets; over 250,000 people entered the ballot for tickets for the screening of the final.
