The ‘Croydon Lives’ exhibition aims to give a platform to local people including those living more on the margins of society. The exhibition contains 7 striking images by local photographer Yolande de Vries portraying people who live and work in Croydon in their everyday setting. Those depicted include local firefighters, a young man recently sleeping rough in the town centre and a young mum with her 3 children.
Bare PR commissioned the exhibition to uncover ‘ordinary men and women’ in the Borough, to underline their contribution to the community and their stake in its future. Bare PR specialises in PR and marketing for social change working across a range of sectors including health, charities, education, heritage and lifestyle.
