MEATliquor, an institution for liquor and laughs, started life as the MEATwagon in 2009. Founded by Yianni Papoutsis, a pioneer of street food in the UK, and Scott Collins –both named by the London Evening Standard as one of the 1000 most influential people in London, one of the 500 most influential people in Britain according to The Peerage Publisher Debrett’s and most recently recognised by Restaurant Magazine in the Power List as one of the 100 most influential people in the UK restaurant industry – they have together blazed a demonic trail through the restaurant world, bringing crowds of the converted in their wake.
Building upon the success of #MEATeasy, the original MEATliquor, MEATmarket in Covent Garden, MEATmission in Hoxton, MEATliquor Brighton, MEATliquor Leeds, CHICKENliquor in Brixton, MEATliquorN1, MEATliquor Bristol, MEATliquor East Dulwich and MEATliquor QW all offer ‘rough and ready’ menus of deliciously messy meat dishes and cocktails, a carnivorous playground – the obelisk of dining experiences.
As the name suggests, MEAT and liquor are their thing, but it's not just burgers and booze… Expect MEAT (beef, chicken, veggie, vegan), dogs, wings and rings and fries. They’ve got a bar with cocktails & draught beer, table football, and a photobooth as well as a restaurant with space available inside, outside and a room for private hire (ideal for parties, meetings and conferences). The £10 lunch deal is available weekdays until 5pm.
