Soda Crew DJs

Pioneering South London club night returns to BOXPARK Croydon, featuring talented DJs & MCs from South London with learning disabilities.

Talented DJs with learning disabilities are supported to develop their technique at dedicated training sessions delivered each week by Petite DJ, aka Tendai Chagweda of Inspiring DJs. These regular club nights are produced by Club Soda, who runs some of London’s most popular learning disability arts events, including integrated gigs and performance cabarets. This event will feature:

The Soda Crew story……

The Soda Crew was established by Club Soda back in 2009 to support several talented DJs with learning disabilities to improve their technique and get opportunities to play at club nights up and down the country. There are currently 12 DJs in the Soda Crew, each of whom has unique musical taste and personality behind the decks. The Soda Crew’s regular events at local venues are becoming increasingly popular. The atmosphere is always positive, friendly, and inclusive with a good mix of disabled and non-disabled clubbers.

Club Soda

Club Soda is the only disability-led organisation in Croydon providing creative music and media opportunities for people with learning disabilities. Founded by members with learning disabilities we have delivered over 200 music events and reached an audience of several thousand people online and in-person. Through our programmes and events, we campaign and educate venues, care agencies and partners to become more "leaning disability friendly", promote a more inclusive network and push the perceived boundaries of creativity in music and media.
