Vote: Greek on the Street

Greek on the Street 5

Listen, you can take your Oscars, your MOBOs, the BRITs, Tonys, Grammys; the works! There's only one awards ceremony that really matters and that's the British Kebab Awards.

You heard me.

How many times has the humble kebab been there for you? When you're looking for a feel-good and flavourful bite to eat, there's the kebab; when you're absolutely hanging upside your head, there's the kebab; when you've got your mates over and you're hankering for a bangin' takeaway, yep, you guessed it, kebab! No high street would be complete without a quality kebab restaurant or takeaway. This Middle Eastern delicacy has become a British staple.

The British Kebab awards recognise the kebab's contribution to British society, to British culture:

As a nation we’re proud of our locals kebab shops; we relish in recommending ‘that great little kebab place’; we lay claim to our towns creating the best Kebab's. This is how much Britain loves Kebab takeaway and restaurants. This is how proud we are that they’re part of the fabric of our diverse communities.

And so they're doing the good thing and seeking out the best of the best, the creme de la creme, the king of kebabs.

Boxpark Croydon just so happens to be the proud home of two-time nominee, Greek on the Street! Arguably one of south London's most popular takeout spots, Greek on the Street has made a name for itself as a place that not only boasts a quality menu but incredible service, too. So much so, that they've been shortlisted for both Customer Satisfaction and Best Takeaway in London

The votes are now open, so if you're a GotS fan and feel like showing them a little love (Valentine's is fast approaching, after all) then head to the British Kebab Awards and let your voice be heard! Whether they scoop the prize or not, Greek on the Street will forever be winners in our eyes. Their mouth-watering menu, friendly staff and authentic flavours are enough of a combination to win over the hearts, minds and stomachs of the people of London.

Greek on the Street is open 7 days a week at Boxpark Croydon. Don't forget to give them a follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
