Tripitaka Guest Mix

Since we launched in October 2016, Tripitaka has been killing it in the BoxBar for your listening pleasure. His keen ear for mixing is the product of his passion for DJ-ing that started back when he was just 16 years old, and his talents have not gone unnoticed. So much so that First Ear have snapped up our resident DJ for a special guest mix.

First Ear are based in San Francisco's gorgeous Bay Area. Even though they only launched in 2013, First Ear quickly forged a solid reputation as being a trusted source of quality music and innovative mixes. Their recommendations, blogs and guest mixes have introduced big sounds to audiences across the world and so, naturally, we were thrilled to hear that Tripitaka had been selected. His unique mix features some old school turntable tricks and live mashup elements, as well as some exclusive edits.
