Tell us who you are and what you do.
My name is Anaelle and I am the head waitress at Lazeez Tapas. I started my Lazeez journey at our Mayfair restaurant in central London. Lazeez Tapas brings fresh, authentic Lebanese flavours to customers wanting to try something new. We pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient service. We want every customer, both old and new, to feel welcome when they step through our doors.
Which song best sums up your brand?
It has to be the great Arabic music we play in our restaurants, from a wide selection of Lebanese artists. We like to keep it traditional and we feel the music adds real character to our menu.
What can customers expect from you at Boxpark Croydon?
Our menu is fresh and delicious. Our customers love the fusion of flavours in each of our dishes and we want to welcome as many people as possible to come and experience that with us. We serve freshly made hummus, falafel and salads and our meat is charcoal grilled to perfection. Where we can, we source our ingredients locally to ensure that each bite of our menu delivers on authenticity.
What is your favourite item on your menu?
The Shish Taouk Chicken is my absolute favourite. It's fragrant and creamy and full of flavour!
Which other Boxpark Croydon trader would you recommend to customers?
We're a big, big fan of the fantastic vegan menu available from Cook Daily!
What is your favourite thing about Croydon?
It might be a little biased to say it but it has to be Boxpark. Having all these incredible menus in one place is brilliant and the people of Croydon have really responded to it. Everyone love variety!
If you were on death row, what would be your last meal and why?
I adore the Beirut burger with fresh hummus! I wouldn't be able to turn it down.
