My name is Junior Booker and I am a stand up comedian, and I am currently headlining Boxpark Croydon's Monday night comedy event Laugh Out Louder.
What can visitors expect from Laugh Out Louder?
They can expect top-notch comedy and banter from new and established comedians from the UK and abroad.
Who have been some of your biggest comedic influences?
I'd say that Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, Kojo and Richard Blackwood are my biggest comedy influences.
What advice would give to aspiring comedians?
Don't let the bad times get you down and don't let the good times get you too high!
Where do you take inspiration from when it comes to your stand up material?
My material is inspired by my family and friends mostly. I also pick things up from the television and I watch the news a lot as well.
What does the rest of 2017 have in store for you?
I had a one man show on Saturday 2 September in the Croydon Conference Centre and I will doing some touring all over the country towards the end of the year.
Finally, what was the last thing that made you laugh?
The last thing that made me laugh was probably my cat. He is hilarious!
