Spotlight: DJ Argue

This week saw the arrival of a new event at Boxpark - Glitched; showcasing the freshest London talent and introducing new artists. We caught up with founder, DJ Argue, to find out more about his brand and his influences.
Tell us who you are and what you do.
I am DJ Argue. I run the event/label 'Glitched', I also host features such as Hell in a Cell, Grime History Lesson and the Under 19s projects.
How did the idea for Glitched come about?
Glitched is something i've been planning for a while; I wanted to put a night together that spotlights the underground scene, and the aim is to put acts on that I generally back and I think will have bright future in the music industry.
What can ticket holders expect from Glitched?
People can expect to witness the best emerging talent in London and also some of the biggest artist in the UK!
Who were your biggest inspirations when you were starting out?
There were so many; DJ Fonti, Slimzee, Steppa D, Blackjack, DJ Shiverz, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Danny Weed and DJ Target.
Who should everyone be listening to right now?
Right now, everyone should be listening to Mob Set, YS Tekdinner, Ammi Boyz, Jafro, Shayon Brown, Corella, Melvillous, Southside JB, Merky Ace and Tre Misson.
What does the rest of 2018 have in store for you?
I can't say too much but keep an eye on Glitched, and keep up to date with what I do next as DJ Argue.
