This week, Boxpark Shoreditch was blessed with the talented stylings of Ms Oddisnormal. We caught up with her to find out more.

Tell us who you are and what you do.

Hi, my name's Oddisnormal, I'm a R&B/neo-soul singer/songwriter from East London with colourful hair!

How did you get involved with GRL GNG?

I had been following their page for a while and watching their success. I met Naomi at a show I had a while back and had been watching her work whilst putting out content online. Then she just reached out to me asking if I'd like to perform, and of course I said yes.

How was Wednesday's event at Boxpark Shoreditch?

The night was so fun! The amount of talented females that I shared the stage with was crazy. The room was filled with such good energy and positive vibes. One of the most interactive crowds I've performed to as well; it was an all round success.

Who have been some of your personal inspirations?

Jazmine Sullivan, vocally, is one of my biggest inspirations, but also Issa Rae, who is a playwright and filmmaker. Also, my mum who is probably my biggest inspirations of all time.

What does the rest of 2018 have in store for you?

I plan to release some new music and visuals, and of course keep performing.

What was the last song you listened to?

A2 by The Risk!
