We’re very excited to be welcoming some fresh faces to BOXPARK Croydon this week with a mix of tasty food traders and retailers joining our Croydon community.
Eat Lah, known for its flavoursome Malaysian cuisine will be opening in Unit 37, Fanny’s Kebabs serving modern, high quality kebabs and salad boxes in Unit 18 and Bassal’s, specialising in fresh vegetarian and vegan Mediterranean food in Unit 11.
Pure Electric, a specialist electric mobility retailer, stocking market-leading ranges of electric scooters, electric bikes and accessories will also be opening in Unit 69 just in time for Christmas!
Eat Lah started as a street food stall serving a little known dish called Nasi Kerabu on the streets of London since August 2019. Serving at some of the most iconic and busy locations in London, they are now looking forward to sharing an even more exciting menu to the foodies at BOXPARK Croydon.
Before fusion was even a thing, Malaysians have been blending Malay, Chinese, Indian and Thai culinary skills and ingredients together, creating some of the most delicious and complex dishes the world has ever tasted. Eat Lah’s goal is to take the idea of Malaysian cuisine and create exciting, unique and delicious food.
From their humble street food beginnings to expanding to an online store offering homemade sauce and food boxes and now serving at BOXPARK, their passion to share the Malaysian flavours and culture has remained.
For the ultimate experience of flavours, Eat Lah recommends ordering the Cham Cham, a mix of any two dishes and the most popular is the mix of Coconut chicken with Satay chicken and for the veggie lovers, it's a mix of Grilled aubergine with Grilled Tofu, served with the Nasi Kerabu blue rice bowl, it's a winner!
Creative and casual, Fanny's Kebabs offers modern kebabs alongside a short quick-serve menu made using the highest quality ingredients available. Cooked to order over an open flame grill, house chill and yogurt sauces and fragrant spice mixes, including sumac, za'atar, ras el hanout, discovered on the team’s travels.
The tasty menu features a wide selection of high-quality, flavoursome dishes, specials include a ‘lazy lamb’, ‘swish chicken’, kebab, served either as a classic wrapped kebab or gluten-free options of a salad box or rice box. Other favourites include the ‘harissa hot-wings’, ‘Persian fries’, ‘sweet potato fries’, ‘halloumi fries’ and ‘falafel wrap’.
Bassal’s offers foodies from all walks of life an exciting and carefully-selected range of vegan and vegetarian dishes with a Middle Eastern twist.
Inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine, Bassal’s create its dishes using the freshest ingredients with a finely balanced mix of herbs and spices. Diners can expect a choice of simple dishes, bursting with authentic flavours to tantalise the tastebuds - and unlike some meat-free meals, Bassal’s dishes guarantee a full stomach.
Dishes include its unique Falafel made of superior ingredients, accompanied by a secret sauce which is set to be a hit among foodies. Bassal’s also serves Halloumi dishes, Moussaka, and its Special Spicy Aubergines - all at a great price, with main dishes starting from £5.95 and tasty side dishes from £1.99.
