Online Shoreditch Social Panels 17 07 18 Pop Up Illfortune3

Vintage stores are somewhat popular in & around the Shoreditch area, so it's only right we bring in one of the UK's most popular vintage-clothing seller. IllFortune will be in our unit 26 pop-up unit this July and we caught up with their team to dig for some more info:

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

We are one of the leading vintage clothing boutiques on ASOS marketplace. We are based in Scotland and the business was started by two mates from school and since then have brought in our other friends and increased the team to ten. We operate out of an office in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. In the past we have been backstage sponsors at The Big Reunion Festival in Skegness and also designed and supplied the Club 18-30 2016 Clothing range all Thomas Cook summer reps wear. More recently we have sponsored Geordie Shore by supplying clothing for the current show. We source such rare items that Tommy Hilfiger came begging for his pieces back and purchased all of our Tommy Hilfiger jackets from our ASOS Site in one transaction.

Which song best sums up your brand?

Michael Jackson - Earth Song, because we are helping save the planet by reusing, revving and recycling.

What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

A week of selling items that you won't be able to buy from anywhere else. We have planned that the first initial 20 customers will receive a 20% discount code to use within the shop. A look book will be used within our promotional activates showcasing the items for sale.

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

Our favourite piece from our current collection is the Black Tommy Hilfiger Suede Puffer Jacket, not only for how rare this piece is but also the uniqueness in the feel and fabric of the item. This item will be available exclusively at Boxpark.

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

To catch our exclusive vintage one off pieces that have been collected over the past year that you won't find anywhere else.

What’s your top Shoreditch tip?

Supply is limited so get down quick, all items are one off pieces and won't be re-stocked, first come first served.

What does the future hold for your brand?

Our aim is to hold exclusive one week pop up shops around the country and Europe, showcasing the best garms we have collected.

You can catch IllFortune's pop-up from Tuesday 18th - Sunday 23rd July in unit 26 of BOXPARK Shoreditch.
