It's not uncommon to hear of British chefs attempting traditional Italian cuisine, but what happens when three Italian fellas make a go of some traditional British faire?

You get Fish Lab.

Alessandro, Andrea and Lorenzo turned their love of quality seafood into a menu of quality street food. The secret to their success doesn't just lie in their offerings but in the quality of their ingredients. "At Fish Lab, we strive for culinary seafood excellence by paying close attention to the source and quality of our fish". Whilst many restaurants source from the frozen aisles, Fish Lab are about sustainable and seasonal. The fish is fresh, the veg is organic and, where possible, every ingredient is bought locally.

The calamari is perfection and the fish burger is next level but sometimes the simplest of dishes really are the best, and you cant beat some trusty fish an chips. Psst - a little birdie tells me that you can enjoy fish and chips, or a fish burger with hand cut potato chips, and a soft drink for just £7 every time England play in the World Cup. And, with a little luck, there's another two games left in this tournament. Come on, boys! Bring it on home!
