From CR0 to E1

If you’ve stopped by Boxpark Shoreditch for a bite to eat lately and found the top deck to be off limits, we’re really sorry. But we’re also not that sorry because we think you’re going to love what we’ve been working on.
It’s been pretty widely reported now that Boxpark Shoreditch is undergoing a makeover to turn it into a vibrant social and dining hub that customers can enjoy all twelve months of the year. But! Did you know that there’s going to be a few changes as well?
A few of Boxpark Croydon’s well-loved and highly respected eateries are heading East to join their new compadres on the top floor of their new Shoreditch home.
This summer, the real chicken connoisseurs at Coqfighter and the crepe champions of Croydon, Les Deux Amies, will be opening up their second homes at Boxpark Shoreditch. Both these fine establishments need little to no introduction but, if you haven’t yet visited either yet, what the hell have you been doing with your life?!
If you live for fried chicken (let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) then Coqfighter is the go-to place for top quality, Korean-inspired, chicken. Whether it’s the seriously intense vodka-battered chicken wings or the delectably delicious panko-fried chicken burger, this menu packs one hell of a punch. So, it’s little wonder that Coqfighter is practically running its own fan club these days. In fact, so loved is Coqfighter that it’s renowned for its food-porn-esque images that are making the rounds on Instagram. So powerful are these snaps that they’re literally sucking customers into Boxpark to sample it for themselves. I’m telling you, this chicken is the real deal.
Next on the transfer roster is the crepe powerhouse that is Les Deux Amies. Everyone loves crepes, that’s a given, but what these two lifelong friends do with their crepes is truly out of this world. You can kick back with a standard lemon and sugar pancake or maybe even drizzle in some Nutella but it doesn’t end there. There is so much more going on inside this little crepe shack than you can possibly fathom. For those of you with a savoury tooth, Les Deux Amies offers up the perfect alternative – a fresh galette. This delicious pancake parcels are filled to the brim with the ingredients of your choice. My personal favourite is the ham, cheese, spinach and egg galette. You really need to try it for yourself. Still hankering for something sweet? It doesn’t get much better than the sliced banana, peanut butter and Nutella crepe. Honestly, it doesn’t.
Now, let's talk chips. Poptata's chips. What makes these guys stand out from your frozen oven fries or your fast food side order? The choice. There is SO much choice. From a selection of signature portions to their DIY offerings of dips, there's something for everyone as you set about customising your small, regular or large stack of perfectly cooked fries.
You could go traditional and douse your fries in ketchup, mayo or BBQ sauce, or, you can push the boat out a little and try your potatoes with pink tartar sauce, curry ketchup, caramelised onions and mustard or even a whisky-based cocktail sauce. Plus, there's so many more options to choose from. From next month, customers will now be able to enjoy these incredible spuds at Boxpark Shoreditch!
It doesn't stop there. What the Pitta, the original Shoreditch vegan kebab house, is returning to its E1 roots with a new restaurant at Boxpark. After making big waves with their delicious, meat free menu at Boxpark Croydon, founders Cem and Roj want to bring their Turkish-inspired pittas to the East and share their love of vegan kebabs with a new fan base.
Hold up, we're not done yet. Boxpark's legendary vegan establishment Cook Daily is also enjoying a renovation. Don't fret, they're not abandoning their Croydon unit or their Shoreditch base; they're just upping the game in a big, big way. In fact, they're doubling up. Cook Daily will now be housed in a major new double refit upstairs at Boxpark Shoreditch. That's right, two units. And it's little wonder this iconic vegan hub is expanding; everyone loves Cook Daily. We haven't met a single person who doesn't, vegan or otherwise.
We can't wait to invite you to experience Boxpark Shoreditch 2.0 next month. It's gonna be tasty.
