We’re excited to announce that BOXPARK has won the ‘Effective Use of Capital Award’, sponsored by BGF at the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 Awards. Our team is delighted to receive such a prestigious award and be recognised for our growth and financial strengths.
The annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 awards event brings together the founders and entrepreneurs running the UK’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales over the past three years. Pre-Covid-19, companies on the league table (published on 1 Dec 2019) grew their sales by between 44% and 284% pa over their last three years to a total of £3bn.
The 23rd annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards was held as a virtual ceremony on 16 September 2020, with welcomes from Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak and Sir Richard Branson.
The Effective Use of Capital award, sponsored by BGF, was presented by executive chairman Stephen Welton, and accepted by our CEO & Founder Roger Wade and CFO Simon Champion. We were selected for successfully turning unused land at three London locations into retail, bar and street-food sites, making £3m profits last year.
Last year, BOXPARK was ranked 22 in The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table, and we are proud to be one of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies, achieving 96% annual sales growth over the past three years and increased turnover of 58% to £12.5 million in the year to April 2019.
