Seeing as people are taking part in 'Veganuary' or laying off the alcohol with 'Dry January', we thought it was only right to assist everyone's healthy mind frame by getting in an activewear brand! We have Xinx in our Pop-Up and we caught up with founder Nick Jelley to gather some more info on the brand:

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

XINX, pronounced ‘ZINKS’, defines itself as the ultimate embodiment of power and grace. The activewear brand has been created for fitness enthusiasts who love to train hard, whether it’s for a calmer mind, a stronger body, a healthier heart, a flatter stomach, a bigger bum, or just to hangout with like-minded people. Whatever it is, XINX wants you to train your way, in your style, in order to reach your fitness goals, so what are you waiting for, #TrainYourStyle - it’s your choice..

XINX only uses the highest quality performance fabrics to ensure maximum comfort against your skin when working out and getting sweaty. The design of each garment also allows the collection to be worn beyond the gym. The current women’s collection consists of pops of fluoresce colour set against a grey and black snakeskin pattern, keeping a flattering line and silhouette. XINX menswear is focused on t-shirts perfect for the gym or out running, and new shapes are due to launch in May.

Personal Trainer, Nick Jelley, created XINX for women and men ‘who train by their own rules.’ As a fitness professional for over 15yrs, Nick has competed in many fitness competitions, triathlons and runs his own gym in Leicestershire. Nick developed his first collection of active wear in 2014 for his personal friends and clients at the gym, and from there his passion for creating performance wear has grown to what we see today. Founder and PT Trainer, Nick Jelley Commented: “With over 15 years experience in the fitness industry, I wanted to produce an activewear brand for my clients they would love to put on every day and want to train hard in.

XINX embodies the powerful yet graceful nature training encompasses, and I want to encourage everyone to get out there and train exactly how he or she do it best. What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

The XINX pop-up store has been created to resemble a modern yet stripped back gym locker room, complete with cube storage lockers, wooden gym changing room benches, metal grill panels . The space aims to immerse consumers to a stripped back, nostalgic changing room so they can get ready to train in style before their workout.

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

The men's seamless T-shirt because they fit great and are a unique style.

In terms of women's items, I think the Caribbean print design is fantastic!

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

You know you are going to get something truly unique from a brand that are truly passionate and have put everything into their collections compared to options on the high street.

What does the future hold for your brand?

Our next plan is to collaborate with our gym partner to become an overall gym fitness movement specialised around strength & conditioning.
